Overview

The PON aggregation and remote extension WDM400-9 series equipment leverages optical path aggregation technology, efficiently utilizing the limited spare fiber core resources already available in existing networks to rapidly address broadband user access needs. This solution enables centralized configuration of OLT resources, significantly improving the utilization efficiency of OLT PON ports, thereby helping customers save valuable fiber resources and simplifying centralized OLT maintenance. Additionally, thanks to the device’s unique PON optical power amplification feature, it extends the effective coverage distance of PON networks, overcoming the limitations imposed by conventional PON range constraints. Moreover, the system offers flexible network configuration adjustments tailored to customer requirements, while also enhancing spectrum utilization and conserving valuable bandwidth resources.

Product Features

   ● High-level aggregation: Maximally achieves EPON (2:48) and GPON (1:32) service aggregation onto a single fiber pair, reducing the need for additional optical cables. This approach supports large-scale FTTH deployment and enables centralized OLT infrastructure, ultimately leading to a more streamlined network architecture—while cutting operational and data center costs.

  ● Long-distance capability: GPON supports a maximum reach of 40 km, while EPON extends up to 25 km, enabling extensive service coverage.

  ● High Reliability: Each channel features physical isolation and transparent transmission, ensuring zero service disruption. With dual-power hot standby and fiber-optic line protection capabilities, reliability is exceptionally high. Additionally, the desktop device boasts low power consumption and strong environmental adaptability.

  ● Easy Installation: The solution is simple—intuitive, point-to-point application that allows remote devices to be plug-and-play and instantly manageable.

  ● Easy maintenance: Circuit management and monitoring, enabling rapid fault localization for each individual service.
