Overview

 

   The OTS optical transceiver series features point-to-point optical transmission equipment developed using ultra-large-scale integrated circuits. It delivers compact, single-board design solutions capable of transmitting 4 or 8 E1 circuits over optical links. Additionally, it supports two channels sharing 100M line-rate Ethernet data (with one V.35 interface option available—models may vary slightly). The device boasts comprehensive alarm monitoring, high integration, low power consumption, stable performance, and ease of use, making it ideal for local fiber-optic communication networks as well as a wide range of private networks.

   It can provide transparent transmission for 4 to 8 E1 channels, while also offering two shared 100M Ethernet channels with line-rate performance.

 

  ● The optical line rate is 125 Mbps, with transmission distances ranging from 0 to 120 km as optional;

 

  ● The E1 signal format uses HDB3 coding, and its jitter tolerance, transfer characteristics, and output jitter comply with ITU-T G.703, G.823, and G.742 standards.

 

  ● Offers two Ethernet interfaces with auto-negotiation support, configurable via central network management to operate in full-duplex/half-duplex modes at 10M/100M speeds;

 

  ● Features comprehensive alerting capabilities and enables real-time monitoring of the peer device's status;

 

  ● Supports E1 circuit local bidirectional loopback functionality, facilitating device detection and management;

 

  ● Offers a V.35 interface (optional), with line rates of n × 64 kbit/s (where n = 1–32), configurable via network management;

 

  ● The V.35 interface framing mode can be set to either PCM30 or PCM31 mode;

 

  ● Built-in wide-voltage capability, supporting power supply via AC 220V or DC -48V.
