Overview
The S155S product is an SDH-based transmission and access device, specifically optimized for connecting large-scale customers. It supports the seamless integration and transmission of multiple services, offering comprehensive monitoring, access, protection, and network management capabilities typical of SDH equipment—along with Ethernet access features required by MSTP devices.
Through the Xview transport network subnet-level management system, users can perform configuration, maintenance, and monitoring tasks on devices and the networks they comprise. At any network element within this transport network—or even at a remote network management center—authorized users can leverage Xview to manage and maintain the entire network.
Standard 19-inch 1U chassis featuring digital clock recovery and smooth phase-locked loop technology, offering a transmission capacity of 4/8 E1 + 2/4/8/16 FE + V35. It comes equipped with comprehensive alarm functions and a robust network management system, along with standardized protocols and interfaces that enable seamless integration with SDH and OTN equipment from third-party vendors. The device supports 1+1 optical port protection, with optional transmission distances ranging from 0 to 100 kilometers, and offers multiple power supply options for flexible deployment.

● Offers up to 2 STM-1/4 upstream interfaces, supporting SC/FC/LC connectors, with options for single-fiber or dual-fiber configurations.
● Supports the transmission of 1-channel STM signals, features 1+1 optical interface protection (when protection is not enabled, the time slots configured on the two optical ports cannot overlap), and supports automatic shutdown control for optical port light emission.
● Provides clock tracking, locking, and hold functions; the clock source can be selected from either line clock or free oscillation.
● It can be managed via the Ethernet network management interface, or alternatively through the DCC channel.
● The network management system implements the five core functions recommended by ITU-T: configuration, alarm management, performance monitoring, maintenance, and security.
● Available in AC 220V or DC -48V power supply modes, supporting single-power operation as well as dual-power redundancy. Also includes in-place power source monitoring.
● Available with 4/8/16-channel E1 interfaces, offering optional impedance of 75Ω or 120Ω.
● Offers 2/4/6/8-channel FE interfaces as optional, with RJ45 connector type and MDI/MDI-X auto-sensing capability. Supports 10/100M speeds, full/half-duplex modes, and adaptive operation.
