Cold Air Channel Network Cabinet

Overview

The cold aisle containment system uses tempered glass and pressure-resistant panels to separate the cold and hot aisles, effectively sealing off the cold aisles and preventing the mixing of warm and cool air. This containment system ensures that all the chilled air delivered beneath the floor is efficiently directed toward equipment cooling, minimizing air and cooling energy losses. As a result, it helps reduce the data center’s PUE, boosting overall efficiency while promoting energy savings and environmental sustainability.

Cold Channel Layout

In the data center, the cold aisle cabinets are arranged face-to-face and back-to-back, with the front sides (air intake surfaces) of the two cabinet rows enclosed within a single aisle. The aisle typically measures 1.2 meters wide—this is the distance between the opposing rows of cabinets at their fronts.
