Optical Cable Cross Connecting Cabinet (OCC) is a kind of handover equipment which use for backbone layer fiber optic cable, wiring layer fiber optic cable to provide fiber optic cable into the end, jumping. After the introduction of fiber optic cable into the cabinet, after fixed, termination, fiber distribution, the use of patch cables, pigtails and optical splitters and other backbone layer fiber optic cable and wiring layer cable connection. It is the interface equipment to connect the backbone cable and the branch cable in the fiber optic access network. It can realize the functions of dispatching, wiring, splicing and storage of optical fiber. It can flexibly meet the needs of current and future development of various communication networks.
The installation method is generally floor type.
The box material is divided into SMC and stainless steel, etc.
Capacity is generally divided into 144 cores, 288 cores, 576 cores. There are traditional type and jumper-free type.
The internal operation space of the box is designed as open type, which is convenient for installation and maintenance.
Protection level is IP65.
